About Me

About Me

When people ask me where I’m from, I hesitate with my answer. Where my parents are from, where I was born, and where I was raised, are all different continents. Having to adapt and learn things quickly, I’ve always been interested in people and how they move through the world. It’s easy for me to observe and empathize. My curiosity has also led me to find joy in learning and teaching myself, especially if it’s an opportunity to fix or improve something. I am always grateful to live in a time that has search engines and Youtube. I get satisfaction from crafting custom solutions to specific problems.

I started my career with a BFA in Fine Arts, but then gravitated towards illustration and design - creating for a function. It helped me become a better storyteller, and communicator. However I still had the itch to fix and improve things. UX design became a path that made things come together for me. It combines learning about people (the users), being technical with the data from research, and the creativity needed to find interesting solutions. I am happiest when I'm learning new things - and each industry that needs UX design also becomes an opportunity to jump in and learn more about those worlds.

I am excited to apply my abilities to solving problems that can make an impact, backed by research, and guided by users’ needs.
